Join HeartSpark for a creative afternoon of colour, culture, and connection! Local makeup artist Darlene Scharf will lead us through a hands-on Sugar Skull Makeup Workshop, where you’ll learn how to create a stunning sugar skull look on yourself or a friend — just in time for Halloween or Día de los Muertos.
Originating from Mexico’s Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) traditions, sugar skulls are more than just beautiful designs — they are joyful, vibrant symbols that celebrate life, remembrance and the love we hold for those who’ve passed on. Far from spooky, these works of art represent a deep sense of connection, creativity, and self-expression.
