At HeartSpark, our mission is simple and steady:
to create gentle, welcoming spaces where girls and women can connect, create, and feel less alone.

We offer free creative mental health and peer-support programming for girls and low-cost, accessible programming for women, because access should never be a barrier to care, creativity or connection.

How HeartSpark Is Funded

HeartSpark’s work is relationship-based, preventative and long-term. While we continue to explore grants and partnerships where possible, not all funding structures are designed to support this kind of community-centred model.

As a result, HeartSpark is community-powered — sustained through grassroots fundraising, donations and the generosity of people who believe in this work.

This approach allows us to:

• Keep programs free or low-cost

• Remain flexible and responsive to participant needs

• Create spaces that prioritize trust, creativity and care over outcomes or timelines
