About the event
Fertility Awareness Educator and Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner, Chloe Skerlak, takes the taboo out of period and demystifies the menstrual cycle to help pre-teens experience their period with greater confidence.  Participants will: - Learn correct anatomical terms and functions of internal and external anatomy - Learn the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle
- Discover the physical and emotional changes throughout the cycle
- Receive an introduction to cycle charting
- Explore the different types of menstrual products available
This workshop is designed for pre-teens ages 8-13 to learn in the company of peers as well as with adult parent(s)/caregiver(s) to empower themselves with the knowledge of the menstrual cycle and reinforce the power of family and friend support systems.

This fun and educational body literacy workshop is intended to empower pre-teens with the knowledge they need to have a positive relationship with their period and cycle. While this workshop is open both both children and their guardians, it is not required for an adult to attend with each child. If you are unable to afford the cost of a ticket for your child, please select the "Needs-Based Ticket" option.
